It’s Summer movie season, and judging by the box office, a lot of fans are taking advantage of it. Screenings have been bursting with happy and excited fans for weeks as hit films like How To Train Your Dragon, Lilo & Stitch and what feels like a half dozen more have done big business. It seems like the better question for most fans hasn’t been whether they’re going to see these movies but instead how they’re going to see these movies.
At its most basic, the question is whether or not to opt for premium formats, and as premium formats go, there is no bigger game in town than IMAX. We’ve been working alongside the innovative brand for the past few years to learn more about how the tech works and how they collaborate with filmmakers.
