Jesse Williams is a Fixer at Positano’s ‘Hotel Costiera’ in Teaser Trailer
"It's like Neverland. It's beautiful... But it's full of sharks." Prime Video has revealed the teaser for Hotel Costiera, a new thriller crime series starring Jesse Williams set on the fanciest Mediterranean coast in Italy. It's set for release starting in September this fall streaming on Prime Video, but they're kicking off the buzz early with this teaser trailer now. Daniel De Luca, a former Marine, returns to Italy to work as a fixer at a luxury hotel in Positano on the Amalfi Coast. Shortly thereafter, the owner's daughter disappears and De Luca is tasked with finding her. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced. The series stars Jesse Williams as Daniel De Luca, plus Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade. This looks like it might be entertaining enough to watch and pretend you're there. Ryan Phillipe & Bella Thorne in Small Town Thriller ‘Saint Clare’ Trailer
"I am the result of a modern world." Quiver has revealed an official trailer for an indie thriller titled Saint Clare, arriving to watch this summer including on VOD. If anyone wants to watch it'll be out next month. The film originally premiered at the 2024 Taormina Film Festival last year, because it's made by an Italian filmmaker named Mitzi Peirone, and it also played at FrightFest in the UK last fall and other fests. Clare Bleecker is an average Catholic high school student who lives with her grandparents after being orphaned. She seems normal, but Clare will do whatever it takes to protect loved ones when confronted by the evil she faces in her small town. Adapted from the "Clare at Sixteen" novel series written by Don Roff, though they cast a 26-year-old woman in this main role instead. Starring Bella Thorne as Clare Bleecker, with Ryan Phillippe, Rebecca DeMornay, Frank Whaley, Bart Johnson, Erica Dasher, and others. This looks extra dark and violent, and it gets even darker once she gets caught in this web of corruption. Have a look. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Mitzi Peirone's film Saint Clare, direct from YouTube: In a small […]

First Look Teaser for ‘In Your Dreams’ Magical Animated Adventure
"The Sandman can make your dreams come true!" Netflix has revealed a first look teaser trailer for a new animated movie arriving this year titled In Your Dreams, another new take on a "what if dreams came to life" concept. We already have Pixar's Dream Productions series on Disney+ (and the Slumberland movie), and this is coming soon to Netflix this fall. In Your Dreams is a comedy adventure about Stevie and her brother Elliot who journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true...the perfect family. "What if your dreams could become reality?" This was just unveiled with a preview at the Annecy Film Festival in France. The voice cast features Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Elias Janssen, Craig Robinson, Simu Liu, Cristin Milioti, Omid Djalili, Gia Carides, SungWon Cho, Zachary Noah Piser. Featuring music by John Debney. And with animation from Kuku Studios & Sony's Imageworks. This looks super fun and weird and wacky! As a movie about dreams should. Official Trailer for ‘Rage’ HBO Series Following ‘5 Women on the Edge’
"You young people suck!" HBO has revealed the official US trailer for the Spanish series Rage, premiering on Max for streaming starting in July this summer. Originally known as Furia, this will premiere in Spain on the exact same day, too. Five women face extreme situations like extortion, oppression, & manipulation. Their conflicts all intertwine, triggering a butterfly effect, ultimately leading to a shared catharsis. Rage, a series of eight 30-minute episodes, is created and directed by Félix Sabroso. The new series brings together five iconic actresses on screen together for the first time: Carmen Machi, Candela Peña, Cecilia Roth, Nathalie Poza, and Pilar Castro. These five women go to the limit and perpetrate revenge, but not even they are spared in this contemporary satire. Additional cast also includes Claudia Salas, Alberto San Juan, Ana Torrent, Claudia Roset, Mima Riera, Pedro Casablanc, Marilu Marini, Iván Pellicer, Francesc Garrido, Martxelo Rubio and Pepón Nieto, among others. This series looks very clever and entertaining, a spunky & satirical take on everything wrong with the world right now and how it treats women. Check this out below. Mel Brooks Announces ‘Spaceballs 2’ Officially On the Way in 2027!
"May the Schwartz be with you!" Huzzah! Amazon MGM Studios has just posted an announcement video confirming that Spaceballs 2 is definitely happening. And they're aiming for release in 2027. The video features the OG comedy mastermind Mel Brooks (who is now 98 years old!!) talking about the return of Spaceballs... 38 years later. Though by the time it's actually released, it will be a full 40 years. The movie opened in 1987, a big time Hollywood spoof riffing on Star Wars, featuring Bill Pullman as Lone Starr, John Candy as Barf, Daphne Zuniga as Princess Vespa, Joan Rivers as the voice of Dot Matrix, plus Rick Moranis as Lord Dark Helmet. It's one of my all-time favorite comedies! This funny announcement teaser features a hilarious Star Wars opening scroll riffing on all the sequels & franchises made in the 38 years since the first film, which still contains some of the funniest comedy riffs on sequels & franchises. Mel Brooks will be back and the sequel is being written by Josh Gad (who will also star) & directed by Josh Greenbaum. I'm hoping this will be a worthwhile follow-up! Especially because it means they'll get to make fun of […]

Trapped in Their Own Apartment – Official Trailer for ‘Brick’ Thriller
"What if the wall is a code? A code for what...?" Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a thriller titled Brick, arriving to watch in July this summer. Not to be confused with Rian Johnson's classic Brick. This German thriller is directed by Philip Koch and is getting a global push - this trailer is dubbed in English. They want to leave, but their apartment won’t let them. A mysterious thriller about a home that becomes a trap. Tim & Olivia awake one morning trapped in their apartment behind an impenetrable, futuristic wall which has materialized overnight. Where did it come from and why? Soon they found out that others in their apartment complex have the same problem. Without any chance of outside help, all of the neighbors must band together to find a way out. This seems like it's a riff on both Cube with The Platform, while also commenting on how society should learn to work together and we should be grateful for good neighbors. Or not. Starring Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee, with Frederick Lau, Salber Lee Williams, Murathan Muslu, Axel Werner, Sira-Anna Faal, & Alexander Beyer. This looks cool - I'm intrigued. Here's the […]

Apple Drops a ‘Haptic’ Feel Trailer for the ‘F1’ Movie For Your Phone
"Feel the action in your hands." Apple has unveiled a new special trailer for the F1 movie to watch only on your phone. This trailer features "haptic" vibration feedback when you watch it. F1 is the exciting movie by Joe Kosinski (of Tron: Legacy, Oblivion, Top Gun: Maverick) arriving in theaters everywhere later this month. The spectacular second trailer landed last month, and we've been posting trailers & featurettes for this movie ever since last year. F1 is about a legendary Formula One driver who, after a horrific crash years ago, comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver on the rise – played by Damson Idris. Starring Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, with Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem, Sarah Niles, plus Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and lots of F1 drivers and team members as themselves. This special "haptic" trailer can only be watched on Apple phones using the Apple TV app. When you play it, the engine sounds & incredible vibration in all of the Formula One cars can be felt literally in your hands. It's nifty! Maybe just a fun promo gimmick, but I do like that they're trying to shake things up with a […]

Bland Hitman Action Film ‘Bang’ Trailer with Peter Weller & Jack Kesy
"You don't retire. Who retires?" Saban Films has debuted an official trailer for Bang, a very generic action thriller movie from Thai filmmaker Wych Kaos who has been making lots of genre movies most haven't seen. And many won't see this either. It's getting a VOD release this summer if anyone wants to watch - but it just doesn't seem worthwhile. It follows a ruthless hitman who, after narrowly escaping a fatal attempt on his life, betrays his gang in an effort to find forgiveness but ends up becoming a target himself. Bang, one of the most feared hitmen, questions his violent life after a near-death experience. Seeing a new future beyond bloodshed, he wants out—but his old crime boss won’t let go without a fight. Starring Peter Weller, Jack Kesy, Tristin Mays, Kane Kosugi, and Bear Williams. This one looks as bland and forgettable as they come – not really worth a watch unless you need to see another hitman movie with the same plot as others. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Wych Kaosayananda's action movie Bang, direct from YouTube: "Once a killer, now the mark." Bang (Jack Kesy), one of the most feared hitmen, questions his […]

Jamie Foxx & Robert De Niro in Action Thriller Film ‘Tin Soldier’ Trailer
"An extreme threat, requires extreme measures..." Signature Ent. in the UK has unveiled an official trailer for an action thriller movie titled Tin Soldier, the latest directed by Brad Furman (of The Lincoln Lawyer, Runner Runner). This is another one of these really bad, schlocky action movies that's getting dumped on VOD right away because it's just so uninteresting. There's still no US release set, but it will be out on Prime Video in the UK (only) this summer. "The Bokushi" offers a program for US combat veterans seeking their "purpose" and path forward. But now the Government is concerned with the rapid rise of this well-armed, highly trained program of elite mercenaries, so they recruit one who used to be a member to infiltrate & stop them. Starring Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro, Scott Eastwood, John Leguizamo, Joey Bicicchi, and Rita Ora. That's a remarkably strong cast for a movie being dumped on VOD, no idea how they pulled this off. Jamie Foxx as a kooky mercenary cult leader? Sure, why not. But still doesn't look like it'll be any good. Here's the official UK trailer (+ poster) for Brad Furman's action movie Tin Soldier, direct from YouTube: Jamie […]

Official Trailer for Badlands Film ‘East of Wall’ Starring Tabatha Zimiga
"Don't step on the necks of my girls..." Sony Pictures Classics has revealed an official trailer for an indie film titled East of Wall, which first premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. This marks the feature directorial debut of talented newcomer Kate Beecroft, and it won the coveted Audience Award in the low budget, innovative Next section at Sundance. After the death of her husband, Tabatha – a young, tattooed, rebellious horse trainer – wrestles with financial insecurity and unresolved grief while providing refuge for a group of wayward teenagers on her broken-down ranch in the Badlands. It's described as an "authentic portrait of female resilience in the 'New West' inspired and played by the women and girls who live it." Yeah this looks totally rad! And badass! Starring the real Tabatha Zimiga and Porshia Zimiga, along with actors Scoot McNairy and Jennifer Ehle. This earned tons of rave reviews from Sundance, saying it's "a stirring glimpse of the American spirit and its relentless perseverance in troubled times." And it will play nicely as a double feature with the doc Bitterbrush. It's a film to keep an eye out for - take a look. Here's the […]

One More Magnificent ‘Tickets on Sale’ Trailer for Gunn’s ‘Superman’
"Hey, quite messing around!" "I'm not messing around, I'm doing important stuff..." Lookin' better! WB has debuted a third trailer for James Gunn's Superman movie – his fresh, modern update on the iconic "Man of Steel", the "Last Son of Krypton", from DC Comics. This is arriving in theaters in July – one month from now! Written and directed by James Gunn, actor David Corenswet (from "We Own This City", "Lady in the Lake", Twisters) stars as Clark Kent / Superman this time around. The superb ensemble cast includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, plus Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. This trailer also comes with a few new posters, including an IMAX promo reminding people this will be in regular theaters and in IMAX this July. All that matters is you catch it in theaters! The only proper way to watch. It's looking mighty exciting right now! Finally lots of polished footage and I've gotta say - this will be one of the highlights of 2025's summer. And […]

Epic Trailer for Season 3 of Sci-Fi Series ‘Foundation’ with Lee Pace
"We need Empire & Foundation... We act together, or lose." Amazing! Apple TV has launched the full trailer for Foundation - Season 3, continuing this spectacular sci-fi series based on the Isaac Asimov books. "The future is worth fighting for." One of my favorite series ever! After premiering in 2021 and continuing in 2023, Season 3 is ready for launch in July. Set 152 years after the events of Season 2, the Foundation has become increasingly established far beyond its humble beginnings while the Cleonic Dynasty's Empire has dwindled. As both of these galactic powers forge an uneasy alliance, a threat to the entire galaxy appears in the fearsome form of a warlord known as "The Mule". Season 3 continues the epic chronicle of a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. "It's anyone's guess who will win, who will lose, who will live, and who will die as Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, the Cleons, and Demerzel play a potentially deadly game of intergalactic chess." Starring Jared Harris, Lee Pace, and Lou Llobell returning again. With Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, […]

Kids With Special Powers Mystery Thriller Series ‘The Institute’ Trailer
"We only get one shot... We don't have a lot of time." MGM+ has revealed the first official trailer for a new streaming series called The Institute, ready for launch in July this summer. From the writer of "Justified" and "The Stand", and a director on "Lost" and "The Sopranos", comes a brand new series based on another Stephen King novel. After Luke's parents are killed, he wakes up at "The Institute" in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. Outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids. who got there the same way Luke did. What is going on here? Starring newcomer Joe Freeman as Luke Ellis – he awakens at The Institute, a facility full of children who all got there the same way he did, and who are all possessed of unusual abilities. In a nearby town, haunted former police officer Tim has come looking to start a new life, but the peace & quiet won't last, as his story and Luke’s are destined to collide. Also starring Mary-Louise Parker, Ben Barnes, Simone Miller, Fionn Laird, Hannah Galway, Robert Joy, Julian Richings, Martin Roach. Clearly they're experimenting on these […]

Official Trailer for ‘Twiggy’ Doc About the Iconic UK Model & Actress
"Who you want to be. How you want to say who you are." Transmission Films from Australia has posted the official UK trailer for the documentary film titled Twiggy, which is out in cinemas in the UK and soon Oz. This first premiered at the 2024 London Film Festival last year, and it also played at the Thessaloniki Doc Festival earlier this year. This is the tell-all doc about the real story of the greatest "IT" girl – known as Twiggy – and all she's been through. She was initially born as Lesley Hornby in a working-class London home, but when she changed her name to "Twiggy" as a teenager, she became the world's first international supermodel almost overnight. Twiggy was the iconic face of 1960s Swingin' London – a period when fashion and music changed the whole world forever. With her androgynous look & giant eyes, she might as well have landed from another planet, and that was pretty much the effect she had on all the media. She also won two Golden Globes for the 1973 film The Boy Friend, and starred on Broadway earning a Tony nom, too. It's the first time Twiggy has ever told her own […]
