After catching nearly $98 million at the box office, the world’s favorite half-dog, half-man police officer has arrived in home theaters.
Adapted from New York Times best-selling author Dav Pilkey’s hit graphic novels, Dog Man will be available to stream on Peacock starting May 30. Until then, the animated film is available to buy or rent digitally on Apple TV, Prime Video (on sale from $5.99) and other premium video-on-demand streamers.

Director Peter Hastings voices Dog Man while Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson is his feline archenemy, Petey. Rounding out the cast is Lil Rel Howery as Chief, Isla Fisher as TV reporter Sarah Hatoff, Lucas Hopkins Calderon as Li’l Petey, Billy Boyd as Seamus and Cheri Oteri as the Mayor.
Dog Man is a spinoff from Pilkey’s other popular illustrated book series, Captain Underpants, and began as a comic created by two characters in the story. It follows DreamWorks’ 2017 animated release, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, available to stream on Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV and other platforms.

Where to Stream Dog Man Online
Distributed by DreamWorks Animation, Dog Man streams on Peacock beginning May 30.
The family-friendly film is also available on sale when you buy it on digital for $9.99 (reg. $24.99) or rent for $5.99 (reg. $19.99) at Prime Video. Dog Man can be purchased or rented on Apple TV and other streaming video-on-demand platforms.
Peacock costs $7.99 per month (or $79.99 per year) for the ad-supported Premium plan or $13.99 monthly (or $139.99 annually) for the ad-free Premium Plus tier. Both plans include access to Oscar-winning films such as Wicked and Oppenheimer; NBC TV series, including Suits L.A. and St. Denis Medical, and Peacock originals, including SNL 50: Beyond Saturday Night, The Traitors and more.
However, only the Peacock Premium Plus package lets you stream your local NBC channel live online.

Dog Man: Synopsis, Cast, Run Time
Dog Man is based on Dav Pilkey’s graphic novel series and follows a police officer with the head of a dog and the body of a man. After Officer Knight and his canine companion Greg are injured on the job and land in the emergency room, the duo become one when it is decided that neither can survive unless they “sew the dog’s head onto the man’s body.” Dog Man must then foil the evil plans of his enemy, Petey, an orange cat (voiced by Pete Davidson), who clones himself in an effort to create a criminal sidekick but ends up with a curious kitten, Li’l Petey (Lucas Hopkins Calderon) instead.
Dog Man is rated PG and runs one hour and 29 minutes.
