Samara Weaving is a Badass Getaway Driver in ‘Eenie Meanie’ Trailer

“I’m gonna need a car.” Buckle up – she’s ready to drive! 20th Century has launched the official trailer for an action comedy movie called Eenie Meanie, which will be skipping theaters and driving straight onto streaming on Hulu this summer. Arriving to watch on August 22nd coming up soon. “She can get away from anything. Except him.” This original film follows a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged right back into her unsavory past when a previous employer offers her an opportunity to possibly save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend. The fun action comedy flick stars Samara Weaving as getaway driver Edie, aka “Eenie Meanie”, who is the best of the best. She’s joined by Karl Glusman, Jermaine Fowler, Steve Zahn, Andy Garcia, Randall Park, Marshawn Lynch, and Mike O’Malley. Yep this looks like a blast. Featuring some badass comedy, with at least a few fun car chases and getaway scenes. Ready to roll?

A reformed teenage getaway driver known as “Eenie Meanie” (starring Samara Weaving) is dragged back into her unsavory past when a former employer offers her the chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend by driving for a casino heist. Eenie Meanie is written and directed by American writer / filmmaker Shawn Simmons, making his directorial debut with this movie after showrunning the “Wayne” series and producing the “The Continental” series. He’s also a writer on the series “Man Up!”, “Mr. Pickles”, “Kirby Buckets”, “School of Rock”, “Now We’re Talking”, “Wayne”, “The Continental”. Produced by Marty P.
