One More Magnificent ‘Tickets on Sale’ Trailer for Gunn’s ‘Superman’

“Hey, quite messing around!” “I’m not messing around, I’m doing important stuff…” Lookin’ better! WB has debuted a third trailer for James Gunn’s Superman movie – his fresh, modern update on the iconic “Man of Steel”, the “Last Son of Krypton”, from DC Comics. This is arriving in theaters in July – one month from now! Written and directed by James Gunn, actor David Corenswet (from “We Own This City”, “Lady in the Lake”, Twisters) stars as Clark Kent / Superman this time around. The superb ensemble cast includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, plus Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. This trailer also comes with a few new posters, including an IMAX promo reminding people this will be in regular theaters and in IMAX this July. All that matters is you catch it in theaters! The only proper way to watch. It’s looking mighty exciting right now! Finally lots of polished footage and I’ve gotta say – this will be one of the highlights of 2025’s summer. And it seems the studio is feeling confident too, and putting all their weight behind promoting it as THE must see movie of the summer season. Excited to finally watch it soon?

Superman, formerly known as Superman: Legacy, is directed by acclaimed American writer / filmmaker James Gunn, who now runs DC Studios and directed the movies Slither, Super, Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, DC’s The Suicide Squad previously, plus this year’s Creature Commandos series; he also wrote the screenplay for Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead film and Greg McLean’s The Belko Experiment.
