“Woke up. Got out of bed. Walked downstairs. And into the dark… And they never came back.” What?! Where did they go?! New Line Cinema / Warner Bros have unveiled the full official trailer for the extremely strange and unsettling new film from Barbarian director Zach Cregger titled Weapons. This is all still one big secret – no one actually knows where they went, what happened to them, what is really going on in this town. “An interrelated, multistory horror epic about the disappearance of high school students in a small town.” At 2:17AM, a class of kids got up out of their beds and ran away – never to be seen again. But no one knows why or what happened to them after. The ensemble cast (of mostly parents wondering where their kids are now and who is to blame) includes Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams, Amy Madigan, June Diane Raphael, Whitmer Thomas, Toby Huss, and Clayton Farris as Terry. Yep this is now my most anticipated horror movie of 2025 – it looks properly WTF disquieting and it’s going to get even weirder & more twisted once we all start watching. Cannot wait for it.
