Jake McLaughlin Stars in Time Distortion Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Site’ Trailer

“You saw it? Just tell me you saw it!” Blue Fox Entertainment has revealed the official trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller titled Site, ready for release starting in August this summer including on VOD right away. The latest film written and directed by indie filmmaker Jason Eric Perlman. After a terrifying encounter at an abandoned black ops government test site, a small town family man begins seeing haunting visions of a past that threatens to destroy his present. This sci-fi thriller involves some sort of time travel / time disruptor machine from the military that seems to go haywire, pulling this guy into its overlapping timelines. He gets some kind of “sight” into the past, it seems? Featuring an impressive cast with Jake McLaughlin, Arielle Kebbel, Theo Rossi, Miki Ishikawa, Clyde Kusatsu, Neagheen Homaifar, and Yoson An. Well, I’ll be damned! This doesn’t look that bad – check out the trailer. Ambitious, intriguing, with a complex concept involving many narratives interlinked with this guy at the center. What does it all mean? How to decipher?

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Jason Eric Perlman’s sci-fi thriller Site, direct from YouTube:

While inspecting an abandoned military site, Neil Bardo (Jake McLaughlin) suffers a mind-altering time distortion. Soon after, haunting hallucinations of strangers and troubling events from the past bleed into Neil’s reality. One vision is so traumatic, it leads to a biking accident that nearly blinds his only son. With his life unraveling and his son’s sight hanging in the balance, Neil must uncover the secrets of the facility and the soul-shattering truth of his hallucinations. Site is both written and directed by American writer / filmmaker Jason Eric Perlman, making his second feature after directing the film Threshold previously, plus a few other shorts. Produced by Benjamin Cooke, Kelly Hayes, Jason Eric Perlman, Yvonne Supangkat. This hasn’t premiered at any festivals or elsewhere, as far as we know. Blue Fox Entertainment will debut Perlman’s Site film in select US theaters + on VOD starting August 7th, 2025 coming up. Who’s curious?
