“If we don’t lock them down, it will be too late…” Listen to him! Lock it down! This looks badass. FX has finally revealed a full official trailer for the exciting spin-off series Alien: Earth, based on the Alien series. Confirmed for release in August this summer – and this trailer packs some seriously awesome footage. When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat. This is set in 2120 when “five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold – wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.” Doesn’t sound good. Created & directed by Noah Hawley. The cast includes Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Moe Bar-El, Adarsh Gourav, & others. We’ve been posting various teasers for this since ever since last year, it’s great to finally get a glimpse at some real footage. And DAMN does this look really good. I am properly impressed – big and epic and expansive, firing off some real thrilling xenomorph action scenes. Bring on Alien: Earth.
