Ariel Winter is part of a birthday celebration gone wrong in the trailer for screen-life thriller movie Don’t Log Off.
The feature from writer-director brothers Brandon Baer and Garrett Baer hits select theaters July 11 ahead of its VOD release July 15. Brielle Barbusca (Scandal), Luke Benward (Criminal Minds), Sterling Beaumon (Law & Order True Crime), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans Return), Kara Royster (Pretty Little Liars), Ashley Argota (All American) and Khylin Rhambo (47 Meters Down: Uncaged) also star in the film that landed distribution from Epic Pictures’ horror banner Dread.
Don’t Log Off follows Annie (Modern Family star Winter), who scrambles to help rescue her best friend after she goes missing during a surprise birthday video call. Annie and her pals attempt to analyze their friend’s disappearance as more of them begin to vanish.
“I think she might have been lying,” Brian (Rhambo) says about one friend in the below trailer.

Brandon and Garrett Baer helmed the film from their own script. The pair produced the movie alongside Winter, Beaumon, Benward, Nicole Smolen and Austin Seltzer. Todd Slater also produced for Brick Lane Entertainment.
“The fear in this film isn’t just about what you see on the screen — it’s about what happens when the lines between virtual and reality start to blur,” Winter said in a previously released statement. “We’re excited to partner with Epic and Dread, and for audiences to experience the thrills, the chills and the very real uncertainty we all felt during that time. Don’t Log Off is a terrifying reminder that sometimes, logging off might be the scariest thing you can do!”
